Please note that any orders placed using our payment plans will not ship until the last payment is made.
Please follow these rules to help us avoid delays. If your order number ends in 0, 1, 2, or 3, please ship as soon as possible. If your order number ends in 4, 5, or 6, please wait 14 days after your order to ship. If your order number is 7, 8, or 9, please wait 28 days to ship. This helps stagger and spread out when items arrives as opposed to everyone shipping at the exact same time and creating a pile of orders needing to be processed and finished at the same time. Having a bunch of items that all need to be finished at the same time can be harder to manage and often creates delay. If you are going out of town or have something come up that prevents you from following this exactly just let us know.
TO HELP AVOID CONFUSION AND DELAYS PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW FOR SHIPPING FRAMES AND FIREARMS:
- Please print and include with your frame or firearm a copy of your order receipt or invoice, and include a copy of our FFL: DOWNLOAD HERE
- Include a legible copy of your government issued ID.
- Place your frame or firearm in a box with a magazine. We recommend using paper, bubble wrap, or some other padding to help keep your items safe. There is no need to strip your frame or firearm.
- When it is time to ship you can ship directly to us using a website like https://shipoutdoors.com/ or use your local FFL to ship your firearm. Both options have pros and cons and most customers opt to use a local FFL.
THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN DECIDING HOW TO SEND AND RECEIVE YOUR FIREARM / FRAME:
UPS & Fedex have both changed shipping policies which makes shipping through them to us and direct back to you a little more expensive and more hassle than before which is why many customers opt to ship through an FFL. They now require a contracted firearm account. If you just drop your package off with them and use any standard label and the package is lost or damaged you’ll have no recourse. To avoid this we recommend https://shipoutdoors.com/. You can get reduced cost labels with a contracted firearms account. Alternatively, you can bring to an FFL and let them know you need to send something out for gunsmithing and to assure safe delivery and return. Upon return you can pick your gun up no background check needed.
If you want the gun returned to you the address on your ID needs to match the return address. You will need make sure you are there to sign for the package on the delivery date. For handguns, we are required to return to customers using our contracted UPS account which requires overnight direct route shipping with Signature require, this can be pretty costly. When returning to an FFL we can use cheaper options like Ship Outdoors and use 2-Day and you don’t have to worry about being around to sign for it. Which is also nice in case there is a delay you don’t have to worry about taking work off to then miss it anyway due to a delay.
It is federally legal for you to ship direct to us, however, with changes to policies with UPS and Fedex it is often easier for all involved to simply use a local FFL (gun shop, pawn shop, etc.). Most of the time this will be more convenient as we can return it to them for you to pickup and you won’t have to worry about making sure you’re home to sign for it. Having it shipped through an FFL is often cheaper overall due to the cheaper return shipping. If using an FFL make sure they are aware it’s being sent off for gunsmithing so they do not treat it like a transfer.

SLIDE & PART SHIPPING INFO:
- Slides and small parts like barrels, triggers, etc., are able to be shipped by any means you prefer. They are not considered firearms by law so you can send it in any form or manner.
- Please include your order receipt or confirmation.
- We recommend using paper, bubble wrap, or some other padding to help keep your items safe. There is no need to strip your slide we’ll take care of that.
- We recommend using a small priority flat rate USPS box or UPS. We’ve started using UPS increasingly more often as they are one of the cheapest and most reliable options.
